Night On The Town

When your residents were younger, they did not always go to see movies; they also went to see live shows. There is excitement at live shows because it is real people right in front of you and emotion of the characters connects with the audience. So, why not bring back those times and take your residents to a live show. This could be a concert, a ballet, a play, a musical, or whatever else you can think of. The residents are definitely going to love this event not only because they get to see a live performance, but also because they are going to get out of the nursing home for a “night on the town”. All you need to do is find a local performing arts studio and see when there live shows are taking place and then have your residents either raise money or pay for the tickets. As they say in the performance world, “break a leg”.
