Don’t Take The Fall

The older a person gets, the more likely they are to fall. A fall can be devastating for an elderly person. Their independence is threatened and a short term or permanent impairment of mobility can occur. They may no longer be able to stay in assisted living and have to go to skilled care and depending on the severity of injuries death can occur. There are steps you can take and tools you can use to provide a safer environment for your resident and teach your staff how to prevent falls and safeguard the resident.

The short and long term effects of falls on residents are obvious and can be devastating. The short and long term effects on your organization are equally obvious and devastating.
