The beauty of life never ceases to amaze me. When visiting a ranch with my daughter the other day we stumbled upon this 3 week old smiling colt. This was the first baby to his new mother and he is a reminder to me why we at PCALIC do what we do. It’s about the cycle of life and caring enough to make each of our life experiences special. We often take this for granted.
Sometimes at work, I get caught up in things and forget why we started PCALIC. I always remind myself, it was because we can help make a difference and assure the long-term services for the facilities and people who are caring for those that may need some assistance.
You see when we see a new life, it is much easier to remember the good, the joy, and the rewards, however, sometimes when dealing with the mundane and everyday activities of work, we forget that life is a journey that begins with birth and without the care provided by adult residential facilities, life to many would or could be less independent and compassionate.
So kudos to Adult Residential Care Facilities and the employees and care staff that care so compassionately. Unknowingly, you remind me why we at PCALIC do what we do, so that you can do what you do best, care for life.
